Our experienced tour guide and driver welcomes you at the “Chinggis Khan” international airport and head to the Ulaanbaatar. After hotel check-in let’s enjoy mongolian cuisine for a lunch and then start Ulaanbaatar city tour. What to see today:

The scarp of Tsagaan suvarga is located in the south west of the Dundgobi province. It is a sheer slope that was an ancient seabed that featured sedimentary structure that was created over millions of years. It is so interesting to this slope because toward eastward of the sun. It also appears like ruins of the ancient city. The Gobi has own fauna and flora and it’s totally different than desert. It makes difference Gobi is a endless steppe and you can’t see any border of land and sky. Most beautiful timing is during the sunset and sunrise.

After breakfast we will head to the Bayanzag or called the Flaming cliffs. With some luck, if the sky is clear at night, we may observe the millions of stars of the peaceful Gobi. The area is most famous for yielding the first discovery of dinosaur eggs. If your visit is on the right moment around sun setting or sun rising, then you will know why it has taken the name of flaming cliffs.

Let’s get ready for real Gobi and sand dunes. We’ll arrive at the Khongor sand dunes around afternoon. After lunch we’ll have camel ride and visit the dunes. Of course, it would be a new experience and challenge to hike up to the top of Khongor dunes. Highest point of the top can reach about 100 meter and called Duut mankhan or singing dunes. If we have some time we could also do the fun activity “sand sledding”. Best time to do that is after sunset.

Yoliin am called Lammergeyer or bearded vulture only live and set up their nest over 1500-3000 meters above the sea level. Therefore altitude of national park is extremely high around 2800 meters above the sea level with his 64 km square protected area. Here you will do some hiking to enjoy Beautiful valley with eternal ice inside, and canyon with unique forms of granite rocks. - Hiking in the Yol canyon will take 1 hour and 30 min along the beautiful valley among the granite cliffs. - Visit tiny natural museum at the entrance.

The natural park Baga gazriin chuluu located 37km from Delgertsogt sum of Dundgobi province. The natural park is unique shapes of granite rock formation which occupies 300 km square and surrounded flat steppes. Natural park is located 1768 meter above the see level. This beautiful natural park has many interesting place to visit such as Jargalant cave, ancient temple and eye spring.

First we will visit world biggest Chinggis Khan equestrian statue in Tsonjin Boldog complex. The statue made of stainless steel and was erected in 2008. We will head to the Terelj national park which is one of the most visited and closest national park from Ulaanbaatar. Generally national park of Terelj wonder with unique granite rock formations, wild beauties, incredible landscapes and rich forests. Also visit the giant turtle shaped rock and hike to the Aryaval monastery and meditation center.
